Pack 3025 Parents Meeting

Monday, May 11th, 2026, 7:00 PM

1850 Patio & Grill, 1850 W Ridgeway Ave #5, Waterloo

1) Meeting called to order by Matthew Kauten at 7:08 PM

2) Attending:  Matthew Kauten; Nathan Leonard; Jeff Mastin; Brock Weliver; Mason Moore, Steve Clemen, Tim Faucher

3a) Review previous meeting minutes – no concerns

3b) Approve/revise this meeting’s agenda – approved

4) Reports:

·      Pack Leadership Update – The pack is undergoing a change in leadership:  This is Brock Weliver's final meeting as Cubmaster as he will be transitioning to the troop. Nathan Leonard has agreed to assume the position of Cubmaster for the pack.  Matt Bries has agreed to assume the position of assistant Cubmaster for the pack (previously unfilled). 

·      Cubmaster – Brock handed over school keys and fobs to Nathan. Training forms were handed to Matt K. Spoke with Parade officials, there is no limit on the number of floats we can have in the parade.

·      Charter Org Representative - WoodBadge training is coming up, more info to come

·      Outdoor/activities

·      Parade Planning - Pack will be towing the Pack Trailer along with a trailer featuring a setup tent and camping supplies staged, Troop 29 can also tow their pack trailer

·      Blue & Gold Report - Blue and Gold went well, Crossover went well, plenty of food

·      Maquoketa Caves Final Prep & Planning - Nathan will Haul Trailer, Nicole will handle food prep for entire camp. No caravan

·      Summer Activities? - Ex: Pack Hike, Pack Bike Ride, Police Station / FireStation Tour, Tractor Museum

           We decided on doing a Pack Buck's Night, Summer Pack Campout - No Other Activities planned outside council activities

·       Review Calendar Calendar Approved for next 3 months

·      Service Projects - Veterans Bicentential Flag on Cementaries

·      Chaplain - Not present

·     Advancement - Crossover Completed, no additional advancement discussion

·      Equipment - No Equipment issues brought up

·      Treasurer / Account Balances - Calculating Totals for Next Meeting

·      Membership

·         Roster:  44 youth/40 active, 12 adults/12 active

7) Announcements

·         Next parents meeting Monday, June 22nd, 2026 at 1850 Patio & Grill, meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

8) Adjournment – Upon having completed the evening’s business, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:24 PM.
