Cub Scout Pack 25 Uniform
At the November 2019 Parents’ Meeting, the Class A uniform protocol was discussed
and unanimously adopted.
Class A Uniform
-
Cub Scout uniform shirt. This may be a Lion t-shirt for Lions; blue uniform shirt for
Tigers, Wolves, and Bears; or tan uniform shirt for Webelos. All appropriate patches
should be fixed to the blue and tan uniform shirts. Webelos may wear their blue
uniform shirt from the previous year if it still fits.
- Neckerchief and slide for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos 1 & 2
-
Pants, jeans, or shorts with belt loops (incl. jeans, scout pants, khakis, dress
pants, school pants, denim shorts, school shorts, and the like)
- Belt
- Shoes, closed toe (as opposed to sandals, flip-flops)
Class A uniforms should be worn to scout meetings during the school year, special events
like Blue/Gold banquet, Crossover, Scout Sunday, etc. The reasons for this policy include
raising excitement for the uniform by encouraging display of earned belt loops, enhancing
respect for our ceremonies and leadership.
Class B Uniform
-
One of the following shirts: Class A scout shirt, Pack 25 class B shirt, red
t-shirt, or any scout t-shirt or sweatshirt
-
Class B uniforms are not subject to the strict pants, belt, neckerchief, and footwear
requirements of the Class A uniform; however, parents and scouts should be mindful of
appropriate clothing for the event for which the Class B uniform is worn, such as
socks and shoes/boots for hiking on camping trips.
Class B uniforms can be worn to summer scout meetings, pack events such as campouts, swim
parties, the Halloween party, etc.
